About Sarah Wilmot Yoga

Why I Teach Yoga
I love yoga, I love how it feels when I practice yoga and I love how it feels when I teach it..
Like a lot of people, I came to yoga through mental health, I had suffered with depression and anxiety since a child. Even though medication and therapy was helpful I believed there was something else I could do. That’s when I found yoga or you could say when yoga found me! I believe wholeheartedly that our bodies, our minds, our emotions are all so intrinsically linked.
Having a huge passion for all things mental health I have a particular interest in the nervous system and the role that this plays within our physical and mental health.
I have been a student of yoga for many years. Graduating from the amazing Bristol School of Yoga in 2019 having completed my 200 hours Hatha Yoga training. Since then I have gone on to complete advanced training including further studies in Fascia.
I am very excited to have completed my Yoga Alliance accredited training in Pre and Post Natal Yoga and am running Pregnancy Yoga and Baby and Me Yoga classes. Teaching Pregnancy yoga and Post Natal yoga has always been a dream of mine.
My goal is to share my love of yoga and help others to experience the ability to bring balance and wellbeing into their life.
I live in South Somerset and when I am not sharing yoga with my lovely students I am found in the garden, my allotment, the beach or in my kitchen researching new plant based recipes! My daughter Martha is a constant joyful presence in my life!
Fully insured Yoga Alliance Professional registered teacher and am First Aid Trained.
